This is an old file that re-appeared after the CVS server change; I
re-deleted it yesterday. So it shouldn't be there anymore - I've killed it
twice already ;-)

At spring-richclient we've switched to subversion.
Not only is subversion a lot better then CVS (versioned directories, 
atomic commits, less traffic), also we have had no complaints yet about 
SourceForge's subversion service.

Acegi also switched I believe.

There is some weird stuff going on, so be carefull...

Checking out spring-projects pulled down ConversationRedirectTests.java 
as part of all the rest, which was a file that got checked in on 4/4, 
but got subsequently deleted. It shouldn't have come down, yet it did. 
And spring-projects is definitely up to date or close to it, as a tag I 
put in there on Sunday is there...

It's definitely working, and quite fast. I did an update on what I 
pulled down before, and also pulled down spring-projects, and I could 
hear my hard drive chugging along _much_ more quickly than with the old 
servers.

I'm also partway through an rsync of the repo, which is going pretty 
quick. Much better than the old tarball system.

As for content not being quite up to date, I'm not sure we're going to 
get any more. The SF status page says that CVS is up as of 2006-05-12 at 
11:30 Pacific time, which was about 2 1/2 hours ago.

This seems to be up again on the new hardware at SF. I haven't received 
an official "CVS is up again email from SF", but yesterday's status 
email said the repos would be accessible this afternoon, and I was able 
to pull out both anon and dev just now.

Note that you _will_ have to check out sources again. The path to both 
the dev and anon instances has changed:

anon:
   
:pserver:ano...@sp...:/cvsroot/springframework 


It seems to be pretty fast too.
