Happy Christmas all, As I'm working on the new book and Spring, I won't be taking much time off. Christmas Day and Boxing Day if I'm feeling particularly relaxed. It's been a good first year for Spring! Over the last 11 months it's gone from some promising code needing a home to a thriving and popular project. We've had 10,000 downloads in the last 6 months. Thanks to all the Spring developers for making this happen. A special thanks to Juergen, who has made an amazing contribution. We couldn't have done it without him. Thanks also to the Spring users: you're also very important, and I hope that Spring gives you a reliable infrastructure that means you can focus on what you need to focus on. And that you help us to focus on what's important as we enhance Spring. I wish all a happy Christmas and happy and prosperous 2004.
