I believe that postProcessBean() used to have BeanDefinition as argument.

Rod,

You mean, modify the BeanPostProcessor interface method postProcessBean() to
include the bean definition?  This would involve modifying BeanPostProcessor
implementations and the applyBeanPostProcessors() method of the
AbstractBeanFactory class to include the bean definition.
