you could try to use XmlViewResolver strategy with your views defined in
/WEB-INF/views.xml (default) to allow for (.)s in your view names unless you
need internationalization support:

<bean id="jteam.site.data.Employee"
class="com.interface21.web.servlet.view.JstlView">
   <property
name="url"><value>/WEB-INF/jsp/employeelist.jsp</value></property>
</bean>

Hi all,

Is there any reason why it's not possible to have .'s (dots) in your
view-names (or am I stupid ;-). I keep getting the error message:
<error>Invalid bean definition. Classname or parent must be supplied for
bean with name 'jteam'</error> when I'm having the following view
definitions in my view file:

jteam.site.data.Employee.class=com.interface21.web.servlet.view.JstlView
jteam.site.data.Employee.url=/WEB-INF/jsp/employeelist.jsp

I'm building myself datamanager and based on a request parameter (which
in this case is a classname) I return the appropriate view. It would not
be such a big problem to only append the classname (Employee) in there
or replace the dots with anything else, but maybe there's another
solution?
