With all the features that Spring currently has, and with the new features coming down the pike, I'm concerned that it will be difficult to keep the documentation up-to-date. I'm proposing that whenever someone adds a feature, changes a feature, or just plain old explains a feature (be it upon check in or to a user asking a question), that in the subject line they put something like "new feature", "modified feature", or "documented feature". The purpose being two-fold: 1) To make it easier for the documentor(s) to comb through the archived mailing list when they get around to documenting that feature. 2) To have a quick way for everyone to look for feature documentation until the overall documentation has been updated. What does everyone think? |
