[Springframework-developer] Current changes and next steps

Hi everybody,

Again some API polishing of the validation and web packages, checked in =
yesterday:

- introduced ObjectError in addition to FieldError
  (the field-specific FieldError extends the global ObjectError)

- changed error arrays returned by Errors interface to error lists
  (collections suit the new diversity of Object/FieldError better than =
arrays)

- introduced BindUtils for simple custom binding and validation
  (refactored version of the BaseCommandController code, for custom =
controllers)

- renamed HttpServletRequestDataBinder to ServletRequestDataBinder
  (it doesn't depend on HttpServletRequest)

- added text property to message tag
  (to be able to output arbitrary text too, with general HTML escaping =
support)

FYI, my next steps:

- improving doc and test coverage of the validation and web packages =
(0.8/0.9)

- support for multipart request handling (0.9)

I guess it would make sense if everybody gave a short informal outline =
of his next steps, including the target milestone (0.8/0.9/1.0), just to =
make sure that we're all aware, and that our efforts don't overlap.
