Thanks for reply. I also have several other applications running in the same
OC4J server in different container but using the same database with out any
exception of such type.

The other applications are not using spring framework which makes me think
that should be some issue related to the way Spring framework handles
database connectivity.

So any other suggestions or solutions would be of great help.
