Hi Mark, Thanks for reporting - there is indeed a problem with spring-core.jar in 2.5.3. A typo sneaked in and rendered the manifest useless. The problem is fixed in HEAD. There are several workarounds: * use the big spring.jar instead of spring-core.jar * keep using 2.5.2... * use the upcoming nightly build from http://static.springframework.org/downloads/nightly/snapshot-download.php?project=SPR Hope this helps, > After seeing the announcement of Spring 2.5.3 this morning I > downloaded the new release to check it out, and found that it fails to > load up under the Apache Felix OSGi container, looking at > spring-core's manifest file I find import references to Eclipse: > From what I can tell this would be regarded as a bit of a show > stopper... > > Mark -- Costin Leau Senior Software Engineer SpringSource (formerly Interface21) Limited - Spring Services from the Source Email: cos...@Sp... http://www.SpringSource.com Registered in England and Wales: No. 5187766 Registered Office: A2 Yeoman Gate, Yeoman Way, Worthing, West Sussex, BN13 3QZ, UK This e-mail and any attachments transmitted with it are strictly confidential and intended solely for the person or entity to whom they are addressed.
