[Springframework-developer] Form:textarea Carriage returns not working

Hi,

I am working with one application where it uses spring UI tags.
For one text area field <form:textarea ..which accepts description,when user
enters text with  blank lines
in the middle.When form gets submitted the blank lines in middle are 
automatically deleted.Which
i dont want to do.If the user enters blank line in middle it should reamin
same.I am not trucating any the text even.Can any one help on this.
