[Springframework-developer] Spring 2.0 bug regarding property editors

Hi guys,

There's a bug in Spring 2.0 preventing developers to assign property
editors to bean properties WITHOUT specifying the required class.
The bug should be in PropertyEditorRegistrySupport.CustomEditorHolder.
Moreover, it seems related to the following issue:
http://opensource.atlassian.com/projects/spring/browse/SPR-2364

I think it is rather critical because it breaks some Spring Modules
code and samples.
I'm a Spring Modules committer and I could find some work around, but
it would be great if the bug were fixed.
