I guess the relevance to your average user depends on your point of  
view. If you were to ask how many of your current users use o:XML  
you'd have a pretty small percentage. The same would probably be true  
for JRuby, Groovy and BeanShell. If instead you ask how many Spring  
users could benefit from o:XML scripted beans, the answer would be  
most or nearly all - that's how ubiquitous XML has become.
Anyhow that's my point of view, for what it's worth!
