I haven't really thought about that in any detail. I'm reticent to have 
to maintain two sets of tags but if there is a pressing need for the 
customization offered by the 2.0 tags then I'll finish them up, include 
them and maintain them. I tried to make the 1.2 tags so there would be 
very little need for customization - they are essentially atomic units 
of rendering with every possible changeable value (that I can think of) 
exposed as an attribute.
