[Springframework-developer] Spring MVC and equivalent to HTML tags (and validation)

I guess I'm not doing a good job of staying a lurker. :)  

First a follow up on validation.  Although spring module's commons
validator integration did not have any documentation, it's used in
Appfuse.  So Appfuse acts as a sample example I can use to get the
integration going.  

The other piece that Spring MVC seems to be missing is the equivalent to
Struts HTML tags.  I see people posting as recently as 4 days ago asking
about this, so I know I'm not the only one.

Is there any plan for taglibs like Struts HTML?  I looked back at my old
Struts JSP files and those taglibs were a gigantic value add.  I'd
definitely be willing to work on that.  I have a feeling I may not be
alone on that.
