I wouldn't mind switching for Spring 1.2.3. I don't see much of a danger factor either. We should just get it done by Tuesday, as I intend to release 1.2.3 mid next week. Subject: [Springframework-developer] hsqldb 1.8.0.1 I've been using hsqldb 1.8.0.1 in training with no real issues. It offers some nice enhancements over 1.7.x, including the ability for the db in server mode to serve data from multiple named databases, just like other DB software (oracle, postgres, etc.), and real schemas. We should decide if we want to switch the version we ship, for Spring 1.2.3, or wait until 1.3. I don't care too much either way, but I don't see much of a danger factor.
