You certainly _can_ get ssh access into the new host, although that 
doesn't get it into the CMS anyway. So if it stays as static HTML 
content, I'm not so sure it necessarilly adds much value to push the 
stuff to the new host. The builds are on SF anyway, and keeping the data 
there means there's means the page can probably be updated more easily, 
and there's reduced bandwidth usage on the new host as people will 
access the data from SF instead...
