Yes, scripting won't make 1.2; this has been decided quite a while ago already. We want 1.2 to be out and stable ASAP, in particular with Hibernate3 support and JMX support. BTW, 1.3 is planned to follow up pretty quickly, probably with 1.3 RC1 right before JavaOne. So major features dropped from 1.2 have a good chance of going in there.
