Looks somewhat like a clone of phpBB in terms of graphics and some 
features. The demo site at least seems a bit slower than your typical 
phpBB site, although who knows what sort of graphics it's running on.

The plan right now is to probably move (within a month or less) to 
vBulletin (still PHP based), which costs a small amount of $$, but is 
more feature rich than phpBB in tems of supporting things like email 
digests and the like that people really need. phpBB 3 just keeps getting 
delayed, and even in the best case it'll be another 6 months or so 
probably before it would be released and stable, from what I can tell. 
The good thing is that there is a converter from phpBB to vBulletin, so 
we wouldn't lose any posts.
