[Springframework-developer] PropertyEditor for Static Fields

All,

I responded to a post on the users list regarding using a static field 
in a bean config similar to this:

<bean id="MyBean" class="com.foo.bar.MyBean">
 <property name="sqlType">java.sql.Types.VARCHAR</property>
</bean>

I built a PropertyEditor to handle int fields and I was wondering 
whether anyone else would find this useful. If so, I'll tidy it up, 
modify it to support Numbers in general and commit it to CVS (once 1.1.4 
is released :)).
