Actually, the release target just includes the libraries needed by the main
source tree and the samples anyway. In CVS, I prefer to keep all of them in
the lib directory, to avoid moving around jars when code moves between the
sandbox and the main source tree.

Are there any objections to adding a libs directory for jars needed by
code in the sandbox. Otherwise a release may include JARS needed only by
code in the sandbox.
