I don't really mind leaving the $Id tags in for 1.1 final. We need a = strategy for the future, though, and currently it seems that the = majority is against those tags... I=20 was pretty borderline myself, but finally voted for remove, since at=20 this time SF doesn't have the CVS version which can properly ignore the=20 keyword expansion, for merges, taking into consideration binary files.
