[Springframework-developer] multiple view technologies for single rendering

All,
Has there been any progress using multiple view technologies (e.g. XSLT,
Velocity) to render a single page (e.g. Velocity for left nav bar, header
and footer and XSLT for content area)? It was mentioned that someone did
this with Tiles in Spring. Has there been any improvements or a POC of this
that I can use as a starting point? Thank you.
