It is me again with the picky details.

It is the class description for:
  org.springframework.ui.context.Theme 

A Theme can resolve theme-specific messages, codes, file paths, etc (e.g. CSS
and image files in a web environment). 

The dot's in e.g. ends the sentence in the package overview as:

You could replace the dots in e.g. with .

A Theme can resolve theme-specific messages, codes, file paths, etc
(e.g. CSS and image files in a web environment).
