[Springframework-developer] Crypto Support

Are there any plans to add support for cryptography to Spring?

I was thinking that we could have FactoryBeans to create instances of
MessageDigest, Cipher, SecureRandom etc and then something like
MessageDigestTemplate, CipherTemplate that could use the beans define to
perform crypto services.
