FWIW I'm hacking on the Spring - Geronimo integration (in the 
geronimo/modules/spring directory) which will as a side benefit JMX-ify 
all the spring beans deployed inside Geronimo into the mx4j / Geronimo 
stack. Though this will be based on the Geronimo-Kernel jar - you might 
wanna create your own virgin pure JMX-spring solution as well.
