intensely, haven't you? Do you already consider them comprehensive
enough for a release? Do you see any room for improvement there? Do you
know of any existing alternative validation libraries that people could
also want to have plugged into Spring? (To me, Commons Validator seems
to be the only candidate for direct support in Spring at this point of
time.)

Just adding in my experience: I've been using the commons-validator code
for a few weeks now and it's working great.  It was really nice to
simply move all my struts formbeans over to spring with hardly a change.
