This is what I'm using:

Windows XP
Eclipse M8
Graphical Editing Framework 3.0.0
Spring 1.0.1

To check your plugin status:

Help - Software Updates - Manage Configuration ...

Click 'Show Disabled Features' if you don't see something that should be there.

You could try downloading the Integration Build: I20040330 from the GEF downloads.
