Why are you dissappointed? I am actually kinda happy since it looks like
I might have to start doing some .NET, at least now I will have most of
my favorite Java projects ported to the platform.

As Ron said, it shouldn't be a religious fight about which framework to
use (although I know I can be religious about it). It should be about
what the business wants to use and what can get the job done.

Sure I love using the Java environment way more than an MS one, but hey,
if the boss says "Do .NET", I'm not quiting my job over it. I might try
to show my boss why not to use .NET, but if that's his decision, then he
feels that's the best way for his business to move forward.
