[Springframework-developer] AOP: attachments

Is anyone using the attachment feature of the AOP Alliance
MethodInterceptor?

For Spring 1.0 final I want to drive some cleanup of the AOP Alliance API
(backward compatible of course), and am considering trying to get this
feature dropped?

Any objections?
