Actually, the Pico docs/website/FAQ do not talk about bean capabilities =
at all. There is a BeanComponentAdapter implementation included in Pico =
1.0 beta4, but it is undocumented. From what I can judge, it just allows =
for autowiring by type: no passing of specific component instances to =
named bean properties. So all things considered, far behind Spring's =
capabilities.

BTW, I've added that Spring *does* support multiple constructors.

8 (no) is actually wrong for Pico. I think they support beans=20
now.

10 - we support hot swapping (via AOP). I thought Pico did too

5 - requires external XML: Spring answer "no, but recommended"

3 - Has GUI (Eclipse plugin on the way!)

Also might be worth adding

11 - Integrates with AOP for declarative services
Spring - yes
Pico - possibly, with Nanning (or is this NanoContainer?)
