Now, the printer (clp-300n) hangs for over 4 minutes.
Then i canceled it and resetted my printer...
Did i do something wrong?

I also checked out svn repos and installed it. My CLP300 (usb version) prints out a nasty error message within the 300dpi mode as well as the 600dpi mode. The hangup does not occur but printing is not possible.

The current subversion repository should fix the work of CLP-300 and CLP-600. Please get the latest subversion revision and try if your printer works. Please let me know the result.

Okay, I installed the latest subversion revision, and tried to print a test page. The result was an almost entirely black piece of paper. :(
Thank you for all your work. Let me know if you need any more information.
PS: My printer is connected to the network using a Netgear print server. I don't think that is a problem, as I can print a test page using foo2qpdl, but thought it might be good to know.

That fixed the problem with all black pages. This is the result of my testing:
Black lines and text: Excellent
Color text: A bit fuzzy, looks like too much toner was put down. Also a bit too dark.
Grayscale image: A bit dark
Color image: Too dark, bad colors.
Thank you so much for all your work.

Currently, the CLP-300 and CLP-600 is unusable with SpliX.
I hope the next release will solve that.

How to provide useful debug information for developers?
Or maybe developers have one CLP-300 or CLP-600 and debug info is not necessary.
