Trying to print attached PDF on my Samsung ML-1610 renders followng errors for every page:
E [22/Oct/2010:12:50:13 +0200] [Job 244] SpliX Compression algorithm 0x0 does not exist
E [22/Oct/2010:12:50:13 +0200] [Job 244] SpliX Error while compressing the page. Check the previous message. Trying to print the other pages.
There is no info about:
Setting cupsCompression to 17...
in log for this job. The job fails.

If I convert this pdf to ps using my pdftops everything works fine...

gzipped PS created by hand from the PDF using my pdftops cups filter, prints OK
