This is the second beta release is a short period. This release is the last planned beta before the 1.0 release. The new layout is introduced and implemented throughout the site (with actually updating the spine site itself in the process). There have been documentation updates (still plenty of documentation to write though), lots of bug fixes and unfinished features wrapped up, there have been quite a few new features added since the 1.0_03.
Just before new year, we rushed a developers release out the door. This one still has some major unfixed issues but it will give you an idea where we're going. A new filemanager was added, we fixed a lot of issues in the navigation bar, added support for plugins (and included a few) and included an "advanced" section in the administration (so quick edits can be done without all the extra settings). Comments, patches and support is, as always, appreciated.
OK, So I rushed into this Beta release... I just wanted to get this out of the way, since I'll be in non-active for a few months. This release has more or less complete Node functionality (altho no torough checking is performed). It's a Beta, so beware.
Altho the actual release is dated a few weeks ago, I forgot to post the news. So... It's out ! grab it now, if you dare :)
The new release (with Session and Comments Module) will be delayed until mid february 2001. Partying, school and holidays are forcing me to put the coding aside for a few weeks. SQL and XML Modules are re-scheduled for mid 2001.
Merged patches, reviewed source tree, same ole' crappy documentation, and another month passed. The new 0.40DR is up for grabs.
This is the almost-ready -for-stable-release release. The documentation is still uncomplete, but alot of small bugs were patched and all planned features are included.
I tried to get out a kinda stable version as soon as possible, so here it is. This Developers Release has some missing features and some bad docs but I'm hoping to add those in the next, stable release.
The SPINE Version 0.0.1 is a Sneak Release. The basic functions work fine. There are however, still alot of bugs and unimplemented features. I'll be updating some modules and examples in a few weeks.
