#80 Axis 14 Remote Console

The Remote Console window is blank for me.

ie: I'm definitely connected to my shard, I can broadcast
eg from the remote window. but no text appears (ie: the
listbox/ rtf box/text box is not even present) its an entire
screen of grey. (maybe the tab order is wrong and its
behind the window?)

I Have installed every ver of axis they have made I personally
feel version0.13.2.0 is the best working however During this
install process it may say Error you wont be able to uninstall
but its ok im running XP pro and it allows a uninstall of the
program but NOT the settings REGEDIT will be needed if you
do not understand Editing the XP reg DO NOT ATTEMPT TO.
It can RENDER UNFIXABLE DAMAGE to your windows
installation, Now onto answering this question.

I assume you are running the sphere what version might i ask
as some versions of axis work with some spheres more easily
than others to ENSURE you are loading your scripts Open axis
If you select DEFAULT or NONE this is the reason for your grey
area! With axis open (Default ,None) Open Tab [SETTINGS]
Make sure to check off the boxes on the left side-Display
Pictures_Item 3D view etc.. Then hit the [ADDITIONAL
SETTINGS] ADD NEW name it etc then EDIT IT- making sure
the path EXAMPLE c:\sphere\scripts is showing open the drop
list open and make sure you select ALL of your scripts I have
10 diffrent loadable profiles-1 is Custom items 2 is Quest items
create them for your convience to speed the process of
finding what you want and also making axis load faster. But
Make sure you have at least 1 profile with all of your scripts
After all is checked off Hit ok the hit exit axis. Reopen axis
using your new profile it should be ok more help needed?
