Thanks for responding.  I dont understand what you are asking at all.

are you telling me that my installation procedure is wrong?  what is the best
way to install these programs?

this is my current method:

1)  install PERL with SUIDPERL enabled
2)  install Speedy-CGI
3)  install openwebmail with SpeedyCGI configured.

please be more verbose about what you see is a problem with my installation
methods.  I really need the assistance and want to understand what I am doing
wrong?
