Funny -- I emailed st...@so... at 11:50 this morning about the
comments on their status page concerning CVS ... Lo and behold, there is =
now
a new comment about CVS posted at 12:00, that there are still problems =
with
the servers.  But no mail from them...

Too bad there aren't any mirrors for this stuff.

I've seen problems with with the pserver service for the last few days -
sourceforge must be having problems.  You have to try it several times
before it eventually it works.
