#3 command line whois

- I noticed there is no command line whois for linux
which works for all countries domain names (if I'm
wrong, please correct me. send me the link). It is
possible to create such a program using phpwhois? Or
maybe update an existing program with country-specific
data?

Have you tried the whois client
(http://www.linux.it/~md/software/) from Marco d'Itri
(http://www.linux.it/~md/)?
This client can fetch whois data for all TLDs, except those
who does not provide a whois server (e.g. .fm doamins).

Yes I tried, but some country domain names are not
supported. I'm not sure which countries are supported and
which are not.
