speed is korn shell script that uses the kstat(1M) utility to interigate the appropiate kernel module to gather network statistics ( rbytes64, obytes64, ifspeed, duplex) and display the metrics in a multiple of ways and measurements with peak metrics for inbound, outbound and total.
