Fix balance doesn't give a message to the log file. You can query the fix output though, see https://sparta.github.io/doc/fix_balance.html "Restart, output info" section.

I see no message in ‘log.sparta’ to indicate that the particles were repartitioned after 50steps.  Dies this mean that the imbalance factor didn’t exceed 1.2?
