They are not available in 4/23, but we are releasing a new version today (7Mar2024 version, see https://github.com/sparta/sparta/releases/tag/7Mar2024) and it will be in this new release. If you want a spatially-dependent function to set the temperature (statically or time-dependent), you can use a surf-style variable as the temperature arg to the surf_collide command.
