Spamcup no longer works with SPAMCOP. My knowledge of Perl is limited; therefore I am unable to fix it,

SpamCop made a few changes in its web interface and now spamcup will no longer work correctly with it.

I find this program very useful and I would hate to think that I have to abandon it now.

    Hi,

what is the problem exactly? From my end, everything is still working. If you still experience problems, please attach the output using the -D option.

There is nothing wrong with the name or password I am using. They work fine when I sign into SpamCop via my browser. I have a paid account at SpamCop, if that makes any difference. I am running this program from a FreeBSD-6.2 system.

    hmm, not much info.
is spamcup.pl running from the same box as when you use a browser?
which host (IP) is your DNS looking at?
Can you post the part of the source (comment somewhere at the top) which looks like:
    05look $Revision: #34 $ produced by sc-app6
The textpart of the screen which looks like (text, after 'report now'):
SpamCop v 630 Copyright (C) 1998-2006, IronPort Systems, Inc. All rights reserved.

Spamcup.pl is running from the same box as my browser. In order to make 'spamcup' work at all, I had to change the 'members.spamcop.net' urls to 'spamcop.net'.

With that new configuration, I then tried 'spamcup.pl'. It is still not working correctly. There are messages waiting to be viewed on Spamcop.net.

From what I can read in the perl script, my spamcop 'name' after the 'welcome' should be displayed. It is not. You can see that by looking at the attached file.
