I go to ship design with a ship I bought from a design yard and change the attributes and click cancel design. My ship keeps the cancelled adjustments and the game continues. I actually had a ship with 9999 hull, 20 + 3 range, 999 cargo bays, and top end of everything else due to the fact that I experimented with those amounts in design mode. My net worth was 17+ million!!!
Also, surrendering to pirates causes an error and I click continue and it acts like I didn’t surrender.
The design mode artifact that this report describes is similar - or related to - artifact 2739793 Cancel Design Changes Number Of Cargo Bays On Present Ship in version 2.01. The artifact in 2.01, however, seems to affect ONLY the number of cargo bays.
