I have an audio file that i want to play through SoX, how would I go about doing that?

UPDATE: One bug fixed, another to go
Copying sox.exe and renaming the copy to play.exe worked, but when I run the command, the progress (?) thing (see attatched) comes up but nothing plays
also, Windows 10, SoX 14.4.1 because someone said downgrading would fix the issue

Update 2: Im really really dumb and was using the wrong audio file, sorry for being annoying and dumb like this
