Hi,
I am long time Sox user, always worked perfectly for me (and I use it a lot).
I got Edirol FA-66 Firewire audio card, all works without problems except SoX play, it runs in double-speed, otherwise working fine (with Behringer USB audio card and internal card works perfectly too).
My system is old Macbook 5,2, Mac OS X 10.6.8, 4GB RAM, Coreaudio, Edirol FA-66, I have used Rudix Snow Leopard package, as it didn't work, I downloaded sources and compiled them as such, no extra libraries, just Coreaudio, I have tested versions 14.4.1 and 14.4.2, both have the same problem, playing double-speed. I also tested various command-line options (-c 2 -r 4410 -b 16, -b 24, -b 32, all possible sample rates available, still the same). Other softwares work, like ChucK, Reaper, Renoise, Live, Mac's own players.
Tips what next (btw. first ever bug ticket, not sure how well I succeeded, sorry if doing this wrong).
Thanks !
Please add -V as the first option, then post the exact command and output.
Don't have the Edirol soundcard anymore, so this can be closed. Thanks !
It's still a bug, though. [bugs:#218] describes the same problem, so I'm closing this one as a duplicate.
