Hello Albert, well I have checked sourcejammer.properties JRE version=1.4 I have tried to change it to 1.6, it did not help. Additionaly I do not have variable like \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JavaSoft\Java Runtime Environment all I have which can be connected to JAVA is \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Sun Microsystems\Application Server\9PE or \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Sun Microsystems\Sun Java System Message Queue\3.5SP1AS but I suppose nothing which can help me. :( thanks anyway On Wed, Mar 5, 2008 at 2:02 PM, Albert Moliner <amo...@ev...> wrote: > Hello. > Probably this answer by Robert to a similar question will help you: > > The client problem probably has to do with registry entries not matching > the data in the config for the SourceJammer executable. Hello. Probably this answer by Robert to a similar question will help you: The client problem probably has to do with registry entries not matching the data in the config for the SourceJammer executable. The sourcejammer.properties file contains a reference to JRE version. This value must match one of the values under \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JavaSoft\Java Runtime Environment Albert. ----- Original Message ----- From: lienok To: sou...@li... Hello. URLs do not necessarily relate to a physical file or folder in the server. Very often they are just mappings to servlets, and the application server knows what to execute without the existence of the corresponding path in the file system. Therefore, you should maintain the /servlet/rpcrouter path in the client configuration unless you also re-set up other things in the server. Try typing that same URL in a browser. If you get a response like --- SOAP RPC Router Sorry, I don't speak via HTTP GET- you have to use HTTP POST to talk to me. --- then it should work. Else, verify that the port, host name and context ("/sourcejammer") are the proper ones for your installation. Hope this helps, Albert. ----- Original Message ----- From: Sechrist, Matt To: sou...@li... OK. I think I see how to fix this. Make sure to back up the SJ archive before you try to make the change. But here's what I think will fix it: 1) Stop the SJ server. 2) Edit the 593 file . . . 3) The Child element in the file with UniqueID of 1318 has a NodeType of 3. Change this to 4. 4) Restart the SJ server. See if the problem is gone. I have no idea how this could have happened. I've never seen this before. Good luck with the fix. Let me know. --Rob ----- Original Message ---- From: "Porter, Brian E CTR USAF AFRL/RYRA" <Bri...@WP...> To: rob...@ya... I'm curious too. Would you mind doing something for me so I can investigate further? 1) Right click the file that's having problems and pull up the Details dialog. 2) Click the File Info tab. Note the File ID. 3) Go to your SourceJammer server's Archive directory. Find the directory for your archive. 4) Go into the file directory. 5) Find the file matching the File ID in step 2. 6) Send this file to me. This will help me diagnose the problem. And none of your code is stored in this file--only information about version history and so on. Thanks. --Rob ----- Original Message ---- From: "Monzon, Carlos O Civ USAF AFRL/RYRA" <Car...@WP...> To: Robert MacGrogan <rob...@ya...> Sent: Monday, November 5, 2007 8:21:21 AM Subject: RE: [SourceJammer-users] File can not be checked in because it is corrupted (corrupted???) Thanks, I restarted the SJ server and I have doing this for different reason and I got to the same point that you saw in the picture. I am afrad that one change that I made was a big comment that I pasted I was put to the right side of the file. This comment has about 10 or 20 lines and has space at the right side of each line. I am just imaging I do not know. Thanks for trying. Otherwise, I will continue to check this file from the new directory where I put my lastest version and keeping going from there. I am just curious about this problem. Hi, Carlos. Believe it or not, but this is the first time I've ever heard of anyone seeing this error message. What the error means is that the SJ server found a diff file where it expected to find the full source of your file. I don't know how this situation could have happened. It should be possible to repair the archive, but it might be tricky. Actually, before we get to the tricky stuff, try restarting your SJ server to see if that corrects the problem. Let me know if it doesn't. --Rob ----- Original Message ---- From: "Monzon, Carlos O Civ USAF AFRL/RYRA" <Car...@WP...> To: Robert MacGrogan <rob...@ya...> Sent: Thursday, November 1, 2007 1:21:56 PM Subject: RE: [SourceJammer-users] File can not be checked in because it is corrupted (corrupted???) I created another file in the repository and add the subject file as new file. =20 I checked out a file and worked on and when I tried to check in S.J. told me that is corrupted or the previous version. So, I was not able to check in. I created another file in the repository and add the subject file as new file. I did that because I want to keep the history of my file (pl/sql package) But I would like to learn how can I correct this error? I know my file is not corrupted because I was able to check-in as a new file in S.J.=20 Thanks for your help, Carlos O. Monzon |

Try stopping and re-starting resin and check the SJ logs at startup. When S= J starts, the first think it should do is try to delete all the files in th= e locks directory. Now that I think about this a little more, this could be a filesystem permi= ssions error. When you started Resin, did you use an admin user, or did you= use a user with a lower level of permissions. Hello there I would greatly appreciate a small amount of your time to assist with my doctoral research at The University of Newcastle. The research concerns open source licensing and we're seeking developers working on Java projects. The research is supervised, ethics-approved, anonymous and results will be freely available. Participation will also provide a custom licensing report for your project. To learn more, please visit: http://licensing-research.newcastle.edu.au Thanks for reading this email, and I hope you'll consider participating. Best regards Ben Alex (My apologies for being off-topic; this list will not be emailed again) |

Hello. SourceJammer is, after all, a web context, so you can also deploy it by = just dropping the war file or copying the directory in the appropiate = directory (by default, webapps). Then, you should check the values of the XML config files (inside = WEB-INF/conf and WEB-INF/server/filesys), and (re)start the server. I wonder if the Windows crash results from (or cause) some kind of corrupti= on of the hard disk. All source files are kept in the archive's "source" di= rectlry. The files are named using sequential numbers. If you take a peek i= nto the project and "file" xml files, you should be able to determine which= exact source file is the latest version of the file you're trying to get. = Once you figure this out, try copying this file somewhere, renaming it with= the proper extension, and opening it, just to see if the file is corrupted= .=0A=0AOr, you could just try to randomly open any of the "source" files us= ing a text editor. If you're mostly storing code in SJ then most of your fi= les will be plain text, and so most of the previous version files will be d= iffs stored as plaintext. =0A=0AAnyway, doing something like this might hel= p you figure out what's going on.=0A=0AOne question for you.
