When playing a song, It says 'Get Lyrics' So I click it.
When it opens up on a browser, it brings up some weird website ( http://www.full-albums.net/mp3-suave%20smooth-Track%2001-79017.asp ).

Some songs work, but sometimes it doesnt

Why do some work and why do some not work?

hi! Im glad you asked. this is not a bug.
The lyric search searches all search engines for an appropriate result.

If for example, Your file name is: 01 track.mp3
It will search google, yahoo and msn for those words and try to get the best result. sadly it doesnt know the song name yet.
Future versions will know this and learn from its own mistakes :)

Wait for CrossAmp 1.1.1 :) [Should be released July 20th 2007) :) With more and more features.

Actually Although the comment above is close to being right and has some good points in it, It is not entirely correct.
Get lyrics uses your WEBBROWSER. The program doesnt actually search the internet its self.
It goes to a certain url made JUST for CrossAmp.

So the webbrowser will search Google, http://www.elyrics.net/ and http://azlyrics.com.

Custom Search also works well if it doesnt work with get lyrics. This is why you type it in 'Song name' and hit search.
That is why the feature is there. In case get lyrics doesnt work. Even programs are wrong sometimes!

it also depends on how well google is improving its search results. the better the results, The better lyrics you will get.
