In the wiki, Rich and I worked on starting a glossary that defines many of the terms that are or will be important in SoundComp. It should help us as well as potential SoundComp users to clarify what we are talking about when using some not-so-common-language terms. Since not all of us use signal processing terms in daily language, this should help understand what is written in SoundComp context when it comes to special terminology - without having to refer to large and expensive DSP tutorial books. It is strictly sorted alphabetically by manually entering in that order, please stay to that convention. To see how to enter a chapter or anything else special, go to edit mode and read the relevant part in the edit window - that then is the way you have to do your part too. Additionally, at the bottom of the edit page there is a help link that will let you find a huge lot of valuable formatting information. The glossary is far from complete, but already contains a lot of explanations. If there is something you feel is missing, feel free to add. If there is a concept that is missing but you cannot explain yourself, add an empty chapter so someone else can see it and help out.
