Greetings Sooperloopers, I am finally jumping into the software looper thing. As a Mac user, I have been jealous of Mobius users and the flexibility they enjoy. I tried SL before and was turned off by the need for Jack, whatever the hell that is. Now as an AU it seems to integrate better into Live 6. So that brings me to some newbie questions. In Live, I have been able to setup multiple loops, (3 is max at the moment, correct?). I can control all via the FCB1010. I have all tracks moniitors set to "In". I have effects layed out through the different ins. For Instance, Delay on track 1 in, Filter on Track 2 in, Reverb on Track 3in. So far so good. I was unable to hear the effects until I turned up aux 1 on each of the Audio Ins. My question is, with the monitor ins turned on each track, how do I only hear and record in SL the track I want. Would I turn "Monitor In" on with an Identical midi note command as Loop select? In other words how do you control "audio in" with effects in Live? Also in regardst to levels, SL seems to play back with less volume then what is going in. Audio in is turned all the way up as is Out on SL. Lastly, I see some people use SL with Bidule. What are some of the advantages of Bidule over live? Is it less CPU intensive. CPU limits are by far the biggest hurdle I can see in using software loopers. Are there any tips for dealing with this?
