stabilization,=20crosslinking=20or=20new=20chemical=20functionality=20for=20=
the
protein."?
The=20name=20is=20fine=20as=20far=20as=20I'm=20concerned,=20despite=20bein=
g=20ambiguous.

(I=20should=20have=20asked=20for=20EXACT=20synonyms=20"post-translationall=
y=20modified
residue"=20and=20"post-translationally=20modified=20peptide"=20on=20the=20=
tracker=20just
now.)

Does=20the=20name=20of=20SO:0001093=20(protein_protein_interaction)=20coun=
t=20as=20a
process?=20=20Would=20protein_protein_interaction_site=20be=20a=20better=20=
name?
