David I think the term 'mitochondrial chromosome' could well be added and, for completion also 'chloroplast chromosome', as types of chromosome. Karen: What do you think ? Just curious... What about mitochondrial genomes? We're using "chromosome" in chado for the Dmel mitochondrial genome...
