Looking at the user fiendly interface (pointing Wii-remote) of the Nintendo Wii, it's wireless capability, and its use of the Opera browser, would this be a good platform for a Softsqueeze version? An alternative could be if one of the Wii channels would be an MP3 player that could play streams, then you might be able to direct the MP3 player to http://localhost:9000/stream.mp3 and then control the slimserver playlist via the Opera browser.

I know many flash players work with the Wii Opera browser because I've listened to music off of the web with it. What is needed is a flash based softsqueeze or at the least a working slimserver theme that incorporates a small flash player into the controls?
Anyone working on a project like this?
Thanks in advance!

I'm here for the same thing.
